'Car Meet' Takes Over Neshaminy Mall In Bensalem Township: Police
The Bensalem Police Department said the large gathering of vehicles left for the Willow Grove Mall, which led to a serious vehicle crash.

BENSALEM TOWNSHIP, PA —A "car meet" Saturday night in the parking lot of the Neshaminy Mall prompted police to discover 200-300 vehicles with some doing "burnouts and donuts" while hundreds of people watched.
The Bensalem Township Police Department reported Wednesday that they had received numerous 9-1-1 calls for a large number of vehicles at the Neshaminy Mall. WATCH VIDEO BELOW
Police were able to disband the large group of vehicles without incident. It was discovered that the same group of vehicles was at the Oxford Valley Mall prior to Bensalem and continued on to the Willow Grove Mall after being removed by Bensalem Police.

The safety and quality of life of our residents are of the utmost importance and the Bensalem Township Police Department will not tolerate this type of illegal activity. The Bensalem Township Police Department has drafted an action plan if this type of incident should occur again in our township, police said in a press release.
Bensalem Police said they have partnered with Pennsylvania State Police and other local municipalities.
"Together, we will utilize every technology at our disposal to identify and cite all vehicles and persons that choose to engage in this activity," police said.
All violators will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law once they are identified.
