The National Weather Service has issued a Hazardous Weather Outlook in Pennsylvania, saying there is a chance of snow on Sunday.

The Hazardous Weather Outlook, effective in Bucks, Chester, Montgomery, Delaware and Philadelphia as well as the Lehigh Valley, says a coastal storm could bring a mix of rain and snow Sunday or Sunday night. The NWS is also warning of thunderstorms Thursday. Snow is also in the forecast in the western part of the state on Sunday.

Forecasters say colder air will settle over the Northeast and could lead to what AccuWeather described as "wet snow" in Pennsylvania over the weekend.

The air will be cold enough to allow wet snow to fall as a storm may take shape, AccuWeather Chief Meteorologist Elliot Abrams said in a news release.
