Sheep Shearing at Washington Crossing Historic Park helps to tell the more than 200-year agricultural story of this important Bucks County historic site. Owned and operated by the Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission since the 1920’s, the Thompson-Neely House is an 18th century farmhouse that was used as a hospital to care for sick and wounded Continental soldiers during their encampment here in the winter of 1776.
