Comedian Ken Jeong To Perform At Parx Casino

Tickets go on sale Friday for the show by the actor known for his roles in "The Hangover" movies, "Community" and "Crazy Rich Asians."

BENSALEM, PA — Comedian and actor Ken Jeong will be performing in December at Parx Casino in Bensalem.

Jeong's standup performance, at the casino's Xcite Center, will be Friday, Dec. 7 at 8 p.m. Tickets are $35 and go on sale Friday, Sept. 14 at 11 a.m.

Born Kendrick Kang-Joh Jeong, the comedian is perhaps best known for his role as the gangster Mr. Chow in "The Hangover" and "The Hangover 2." He made a name in television playing Ben Chang on "Community" and, a licensed physician himself, he played the lead on ABC's short-lived "Dr. Ken."

During a performance in May in Arizona, Jeong stopped a show to give medical help to a woman in the audience who had a seizure until an ambulance arrived.

Jeong earned three Teen Choice Awards nominations and an MTV Movie Award for his role in the "Hangover" movies. He has also appeared in "Crazy Rich Asians," "Knocked Up," "Role Models," "Pineapple Express" and "Step Brothers."

Born in Detroit, Jeong was raised in Greenville, S.C. He graduated at age 16 and attended Duke University, graduating in 1990 and earning his M.D. from UNC-Chapel Hill in 1995. He started doing theater and improv comedy while he was in college.
