1. What concerns or issues prompted you to run for School Board, and how do you propose to address them?
Bensalem is currently facing overdevelopment in our town. Our council approved the development of high-rise buildings. We are a small suburban town away from the city, but our council keeps approving more and more businesses and we are losing our land. It just seems that they are trying to make Bensalem a little Philadelphia. It's time for a change in Bensalem.
2. Identify specific goals or ideas you have to enhance life in your position:
Specific goals are transparency, balancing the budget that has a $7 million deficit, and having a proactive approach to addressing our infrastructure.
3. What in your experience or background prepares you for election to office?
As for my 20-plus years of experience as a union worker and negotiating contracts with my works company fighting for what our workers deserve. Pay increases and stronger benefits for my fellow union brothers and sisters. As a blue-collar worker who knows the hardships and issues that our families need and face, with my experience, I can help the people of Bensalem and fight for what's best for them.
