BENSALEM TOWNSHIP, PA —The three Bensalem school board members who ran on the Republican ticket for re-election appear to have won their bids, according to unofficial election results.

The stage is now set for a November showdown for seats on the Bensalem Township School Board.

With 100 percent of the 306 precincts in Bucks County reporting, the Bucks County Board of Elections declared the projected winners in Tuesday's primary election, setting the stage for a November general election contest between Democrats and Republicans.

Voter turnout in Bucks County for the primary election was 26 percent.

Candidates were going for five, four-year terms. They included school board members Eric Price, Mark Cohen, and Heather Nicholas.

Here are the projected winners for both parties:

Democratic Ballot - Five seats

  • Eric Price — 520 votes
  • Marc Cohen — 712 votes
  • Heather Nicholas — 956 votes
  • Karen Winters — 2,731 votes
  • Rebecca Mirra — 2,620 votes
  • Jim Kane — 601 votes
  • Cathy Dress — 2,460 votes
  • Deborah King — 2,509 votes
  • Stephanie Ferrandez — 2,570 votes
  • Bryan Hanratty — 511 votes

Republican Ballot - Five seats

  • Eric Price — 2,262 votes
  • Marc Cohen — 2,670 votes
  • Heather Nicholas — 2,733 votes
  • Karen Winters — 755 votes
  • Rebecca Mirra — 582 votes
  • Jim Kane — 2,753 votes
  • Cathy Dress — 556 votes
  • Deborah King — 529 votes
  • Stephanie Ferrandez — 593 votes
  • Bryan Hanratty — 2,659 votes
