Election 2023 Results: Campi Grabs Lead For Bucks Coroner
Bensalem Township voters chose among candidates for the Bensalem School Board and county races in Tuesday's primary election.

BENSALEM TOWNSHIP, PA —Challenger Patti Campi grabbed a lead of several thousand votes against Bucks County Coroner Meredith Buck in Tuesday's primary election in which voters also chose candidates for Bensalem Township School Board.
Karen Winters and Rebecca Mirra were leading the way on the Democratic ticket for Bensalem Township School Board.

The races featured a battle on the Democratic ticket for Bucks County coroner between incumbent Meredith Buck and challenger Patti Campi. The coroner's office is based in Warminster.
Buck is running on her record as coroner for the past three years, saying she guided her office through the pandemic and also launched a program to bring proper military burials to unclaimed veterans.

Campi is campaigning to share county-specific data regarding the opioid crisis and mental health issues faced by residents of Bucks County.
For Bucks County Commissioner, there is a contested race on the Republican ticket for two seats with incumbent Gene DiGirolamo running against Pamela A. Van Blunk and Andrew L. Warren.
In the Bensalem School District, 10 candidates are vying for five seats. All have cross-filed on the Democratic and Republican tickets.
With 0 percent of Bensalem Township precincts reporting, residents went to the polls to vote on their respective party's ballot.
Polls opened at 7 a.m. and closed at 8 p.m. Results by the Bucks County Board of Elections are unofficial. The winners move on to the November general election.
