Evening Forecast: Severe Thunderstorms, Tornadoes Possible
A batch of severe thunderstorms will move into the region this evening, bringing the possibility of high winds and tornadoes, the NWS said.

The Philadelphia region is under a Tornado Watch that will last until 11 p.m. Wednesday, the National Weather Service announced just after 3 p.m.
According to forecasters, a batch of severe thunderstorms will move into the region Wednesday evening, bringing the possibility of high winds and tornadoes.
“Severe thunderstorms capable of spawning tornadoes will continue to threaten portions of the eastern states through Wednesday afternoon and evening,” the Weather Channel said.

According to forecasters with NBC10, the storms are expected to arrive in suburban Philadelphia around 6 p.m. and could last until 10 p.m.
The rainy and stormy weather is expected to clear by Thursday, when partly cloudy skies are expected with temperatures in the 40s.
