Father Struck Daughter With Beer Bottle In Bensalem Hotel: Police
A Chester man was arrested on assault and drug charges. Fentanyl was found in a Bensalem hotel room along with three children, police said.

BENSALEM TOWNSHIP, PA —Bensalem Police have arrested a Chester man on numerous charges, including assault for hitting his daughter on the head with a beer bottle.
Bensalem Police issued a warrant Tuesday for Juan Vega Figueroa, 35, of Chester, after responding to the office of the Red Roof Inn on Street Road for the report of a domestic assault at 9:30 p.m. Monday.

Police said that members of the police department's Special Investigations Unit arrested Figueroa on Wednesday morning in Bristol.
Police said a 15-year-old girl stated that she got into an argument with her father, who her in the head with a beer bottle and fled the scene. He left his three children, ages 12, 15, and 16 at the hotel.

When officers went to the hotel room, they observed numerous baggies of a white powdery substance and an extended semi-automatic handgun magazine that was loaded with live rounds.
A search warrant was obtained for the room.
Police seized a total of 110 baggies of suspected Fentanyl from the hotel room along with an extended Glock magazine that was loaded with 10 live rounds with additional rounds nearby.
The children were transported to the Bensalem Township Police Department where they were turned over to Bucks County Children and Youth.
Children and Youth advocates were able to contact the children's grandmother who took custody of them.
Bensalem Police charged Figueroa with endangering the welfare of children (three counts), simple assault, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, disorderly conduct, and recklessly endangering another person.
