Fire Damages Home In Bensalem Township

The Nottingham Fire Department said a Justin Circle home caught fire Saturday but fire crews were able to contain it to a garage.

BENSALEM TOWNSHIP, PA —Fire crews were able to contain a fire to the garage of a Justin Circle home Saturday afternoon before it spread to the rest of the house, fire officials said.

The Nottingham Fire Department was dispatched at 2:26 p.m. Saturday for a report of a fire at a home on Justin Circle.

Ladder 65 was dispatched with Station 28 , 44 ,88, and 16 for the fire.

The fire chief arrived to find smoke from the side of the single-family structure. Squirt 44 and Ladder 65 were instructed to go into service.

Crews found a vehicle in the attached garage on fire.

Fire crews were able to contain the blaze to the garage. The home did suffer smoke damage to the first and second floors.

No injuries were reported and the fire is under investigation.
