Former Holy Ghost Prep Student Extradited For Threat

Bensalem Police said Christian DeFlorio is charged with terroristic threats he posted on Instagram. He was extradited from Florida.

BENSALEM TOWNSHIP, PA —A former Holy Ghost Preparatory School student who posted a threatening video about the school on Instagram in April has been extradited from Florida, police said.

The Bensalem Township Police Department said that Christian DiFlorio, 30, was extradited from Florida back to Pennsylvania to face terroristic threats charges.

In mid-April, Bensalem Police received an anonymous tip that someone had posted a threatening video on Instagram directed toward the Holy Ghost Preparatory School. Police notified Holy Ghost Prep administrators of the threat.

The school was placed on a temporary lockdown due to the threat.

Police identified the suspect as DiFlorio, a former Holy Ghost Prep student, and found out that he was in Miami. Police obtained an arrest warrant for DiFlorio, charging him with terroristic threats and related charges.

Miami-Dade Police Department had contact with DiFlorio and took him into custody on the Bensalem warrant.

He arrived at the Bensalem police department Thursday. DiFlorio was arraigned by District Justice Jan Vislosky on the charges and remanded to the Bucks County Correctional Facility for 10 percent of a$950,000 bail.

Bensalem Police thanked Holy Ghost Preparatory School for their assistance in this investigation and the Miami-Dade police department for apprehending DiFlorio.
