Former Pupil Director Returns to Neshaminy School District

BENSALEM TOWNSHIP, PA —The Neshaminy School District has appointed a new director of pupil services who is actually the old director of pupil services.

Kevin Kane, who served in the position from 2004 to 2011, is returning to the post, the school district has announced.

"Dr. Kane brings a wealth of experience as a teacher and administrator in special education and pupil services in Mount Union School District, Radnor Township School District, the Delaware County Intermediate Unit and our very own Neshaminy Pupil Services Department," the district said in a Facebook post.

Kane received a doctorate in education from Widener University, a master's in instruction and learning from the University of Pittsburgh, and a bachelor's degree in psychology from the Indiana University of Pennsylvania.

He also serves on the board of directors for the Pennsylvania Council for Exceptional Children as vice-president. He will serve as president next year.

Kane replaces Anthony Devlin, who is joining the pupil services department in the Council Rock School District.
