Free Electronics Recycling And Shredding Event This Saturday In Bensalem

BENSALEM, PA — Bensalem Township is holding an Electronic Recycling and Shredding Event this Saturday. The event, at the Public Works building on Hulmeville Road, will be held from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Only Bensalem residents can participate. No businesses. Identification will be required.

According to an event flyer, accepted items include:

• computers, keyboards and mice
• printers and fax machines
• cell phones
• ink cartridges
• DVD players
• gaming systems
• microwaves and small appliances
• car batteries
• televisions

Items that aren't accepted include:

• household batteries
• light bulbs
• air conditioners
• major appliances
• household hazardous waste
• CDs
