GIANT In Bensalem Opens Beer & Wine Eatery

BENSALEM, PA — Beer and wine lovers in Bensalem now have a new place to pick up their favorites in Bensalem.

GIANT Food Stores on Saturday opened its 79th Beer & Wine Eatery in Pennsylvania at its Bensalem store at 2721 Street Rd. The store celebrated with a grand opening with beer and wine tastings.

"Just in time for the holiday season, we are excited to introduce the convenience of a Beer & Wine Eatery in our Bensalem store,: said Robert Wagner, the store's manager. "Our associates are ready to assist customers in making their selection, having completed training focused on the more than 300 varieties of both local and national brand beer and wine."

GIANT says the eatery features hundreds of domestic, imported and craft beers along with an "immense" wine selection. Beer fans will have a "mix-a-six" option of creating their own six-packs from a variety of craft beers.

The eatery also will offer eat-in or takeout options on foods including sandwiches, wraps, subs and salads.

The new eatery seats 30 and is open Monday-Saturday, 7 a.m.-10 p.m. and Sundays, 9 a.m.-10 p.m.
