Almost Home Doylestown is seeking a new home for a one-year-old dog named Pumpkin.

It’s almost fall, so would you like a pumpkin? How about one with four legs?

Almost Home Doylestown is seeking a new home for a dog named Pumpkin.

“Pumpkin was a beloved pet whose owner fell on some difficult times, so she decided to do what was best for Pumpkin and find her a new forever home,” Almost Home posted to Facebook.

Pumpkin is a 12-pound “low-rider” Wirehaired Dachshund-mix. She just turned one.

“Little Pumpkin grew up in a household with multiple dogs of varying sizes, so her ideal household would be one with at least one other friendly and active dog play with and keep her company. Her foster mom told us that she’s a sweetheart, but due to the shuffling around over the past few months, she has missed out on some socializing, so is a little reserved when she first meets you ... but warms up quickly, especially with help of a bit of chicken or cheese!,” Almost Home wrote
