A man who had his young child along with 464 bags of heroin outside a Bensalem motel was sentenced to 21 to 42 months in state prison.

The arrested was made after a confidential informant sought to purchase five bundles of heroin from him.
After being confronted by officers, Ramos admitted having more than 100 bags of heroin hidden in his car, authorities said. Ramos also had his young son with him, buckled in the back seat of the car.

A police search of the vehicle found more than 300 additional bags of heroin in the car, authorities said.
Less than two weeks earlier, Ramos had been arrested in Philadelphia on similar charges.
“I was doing good for 12 years, but then I started messing with the wrong crowd again,” Ramos told the judge during sentencing.
However, Deputy District Attorney Christopher W. Rees said that not including the 2014 Philadelphia case, Ramos had at least five prior felony convictions for possession with intent to deliver.
