MOMS Club Held Flapjack Fundraiser for Sunshine Foundation
The MOMS Club of Bensalem presented Sunshine Foundation with a $2,000 check for six-year-old local Sunshine Dreamer, Gvain Magaw.

Bensalem, Pa. - The MOMS Club of Bensalem held a Flapjack Pancake Breakfast fundraiser at Applebee’s Neighborhood Grill in Bensalem on Saturday, February 17 to support Sunshine Foundation to help grant the dream of six-year-old Gavin Magaw with low functioning autism. The event was open to the public. and Batman and the Disney Princesses made an appearance entertaining the children in attendance.
The Moms of the Bensalem chapter and their children stopped by Sunshine Foundation’s Headquarters, located in Feasterville, to present a check in the amount of $2,000.00 for Gavin’s Dream Come True trip to the Central Florida theme parks. Sunshine Foundation answers dreams for chronically ill, seriously ill, physically challenged and abused children. Due to the financial hardships of their diagnoses, a family vacation or specialty dream is an expense that is hard for the families to provide. Since 1976, Sunshine Foundation has answered more than 40,000 dreams of children affected by illness.
The MOMS Club is a successful resource and support group in the community for many stay-at-home moms and their children. The group held a pancake breakfast fundraiser for Sunshine Foundation in 2016.
