New Director of Teaching and Learning Appointed In Bensalem
The Bensalem Township School Board approved the hiring of Donna L. Minnigh to the position at its meeting Tuesday night.

BENSALEM TOWNSHIP, PA —The Bensalem Township School District has a new director of teaching and learning.
At its meeting Tuesday, the school board approved the appointment of Donna L. Minnigh to the position.
Minnigh has more than 18 years of educational experience in the Pennsbury School District at both the elementary and secondary levels.

Since August 2015, she has served as principal of Oxford Valley Elementary School. Her leadership style promotes an inclusive, data-driven, instructional approach to develop student growth, while building collaboration, collegiality, and pride among stakeholders to secure student success and a positive culture, school officials said.
Minnigh earned her doctorate degree in educational leadership at Gwynedd Mercy University. She received her K-12 principal certification from Cabrini University and a master of arts in elementary and special education at LaSalle University.

She completed her bachelor's degree at Shippensburg University and her certificate in Spanish at the Universidad de Valladolid in Valladolid, Spain.

School officials said they were pleased to have an educator of Minnigh’s caliber join their administrative team.
