According to Weather.com, temperatures will spike to the mid-90s around 3 p.m. The heat index will make it feel as hot as 105 outside, the National Weather Service said.

Even by 7 p.m., forecasters expect temperatures to linger in the low 90s.
At 11 p.m., it will still be about 80 degrees in the region, Weather.com predicts.

Little relief is expected Tuesday, when temperatures in the mid-90s are expected.

Thursday: Sunny, with a high near 83.
Friday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 84.
