Overnight Lane Restrictions Scheduled on I-95 This Week
Overnight lane restrictions have been scheduled so crews can set concrete barriers, PennDOT announced.
Nighttime restrictions are planned next week on I-95 between the Allegheny Avenue and Girard Avenue in Philadelphia so crews can set concrete barriers, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation announced.
The left lane on 95 South will be closed Monday through Friday (July 7 to 11) from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following day. The northbound left lane on I-95 will be closed on Thursday and Friday (July 10 and 11) from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.
The work is part of a $211.7 million project to rebuild 1.5 miles of northbound I-95 from Race Street to just south of Allegheny Avenue. The project is scheduled finish in summer 2018.
