Man Takes Fatal Fall Outside Of Bensalem Redner's

Video from a nearby residence showed that the man fell in the roadway and was not struck by a vehicle, police said.

Bensalem, PA - Bensalem Police say a man died at the entrance of Redner’s Supermarket on Knight’s Road after falling in the road Monday.

According to police, Bensalem Police and Bensalem Rescue Squad were dispatched 10 minutes before noon to the area of 2544 Knights Rd, at the entrance of the Redners’s Supermarket, for a report of a man who was found lying in the roadway with injuries to his face.

Bensalem Rescue Squad transported the male to Aria Torresdale Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Video from a nearby residence showed that the man fell in the roadway and was not struck by a vehicle, police said. “It is unclear at this time if the subject died from the fall or some other medical emergency,” Bensalem Police said.

A pedestrian has been fatally struck by a car on Knights Road, scanner reports say. Bucks Co. News Feed is reporting the accident happened at 2650 Knights Rd.

Scanner reports confirm that information, however, police have not yet released information.

Traffic updates for the Bensalem area indicate traffic is being directed around an accident area on Knights Road.

6ABC reports the incident happened around noon on Monday.
