UPDATE: Bensalem Man, 29, Killed In Hit And Run

A pedestrian was struck and killed on State Road Wednesday morning, according to reports.

Fox29 reported their helicopter was over the scene of the accident, on the 100 block of the road at Tennis Avenue.

According to reports, the incident was a hit and run and authorities are searching for the car that hit the pedestrian around 8:15 a.m. A vehicle description has not been provided by authorities.

State Road is closed between Mill Road and the Philadelphia city line due to the accident investigation, Bensalem Fire Rescue Tweeted around 8:30 a.m.
