Property Tax Relief Offered By School District For Bensalem Seniors
The Bensalem Township School District has announced the annual program for senior citizens to be able to offset the high cost of living.
BENSALEM TOWNSHIP, PA — The Bensalem Township School District is offering property tax relief once again to senior citizens.
The school district said seniors can qualify for up to $1,050 to help offset the high cost of living for those on fixed incomes.
Property tax assistance forms for qualified Bensalem Township senior citizens are available on the school district's website at www.bensalemsd.org/seniortaxrebate/.

Residents can also come to the Dorothy D. Call Administrative Center, 3000 Donallen Drive, the Bensalem Senior Citizens Center, 1850 Byberry Road, and the Township Tax Office, 3750 Hulmeville Road, Bensalem, to pick up a form.
To qualify, township residents must:

- Reach the age of 65 by Dec. 31, 2025
- Have an annual household income less than $22,500 (includes reporting 50 percent of Social Security or Railroad Retirement benefits, and 100 percent of any other income)
Since 1977, rebates totaling over $3.0 million have been paid by the school district through this program.
The application deadline is June 30 for taxes due and paid in 2025.
