Man Dead After Vehicle Submerges in Neshaminy Creek: Coroner

Bucks County Coroner Meredith Buck said a 56-year-old man died in the incident. His identity is pending notification of next of kin.

BENSALEM TOWNSHIP, PA —A 56-year-old man has died after his vehicle was submerged in the Neshaminy Creek Thursday morning, the Bucks County Coroner said.

Bucks County Coroner Meredith Buck said that no name is being released pending notification of next of kin.

Croydon Fire Company Chief Thomas Tryon said his department assisted on the scene of a vehicle in the water on 1067 Totem Road near the Water's Edge Gastropub and Lounge just before 9 a.m. Thursday.

Tryon said the department had its boat in the water, assisting Bensalem Township Fire Rescue and police.

Residents of the FYI Bensalem Facebook page said a jeep hit multiple cars on Bristol Pike before crashing into the water.
