Route 1, Street Road Line Painting Sunday In Bensalem
PennDOT said the line painting will begin Sunday night and last into Monday morning.

BENSALEM TOWNSHIP, PA —Line painting is planned on Sunday night on Route 1 and Street Road, PennDOT said.
The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation said that construction is scheduled on Sunday night on Route 1 and Street Road (Route 132) in Bensalem Township under a project to reconstruct, widen, and improve U.S. 1 in Bucks County.
Motorists are advised of the following travel restrictions:

- Sunday, Oct. 1, from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. the following morning, alternating rolling lane closures are planned in both directions on U.S. 1 between Old Lincoln Highway and Rockhill Drive for line painting; and
- Sunday, Oct. 1, from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. the following morning, alternating rolling lane closures are planned in both directions on Street Road (Route 132) between Kingston Way and Old Lincoln Highway for line painting.
Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas. All scheduled activities are weather-dependent and subject to change.
PennDOT is reconstructing and widening U.S. 1, improving the interchanges, and constructing new bridges from the Turnpike Interchange in Bensalem Township to north of the Penndel/Business U.S. 1 in Middletown Township under the $113.5 million Section RC2 contract.
