Uber Protest Creates Center City Gridlock
Center City is in gridlock Wednesday afternoon as taxi and Uber Black drivers block the streets in protest of Uber X and Lyft.
The protesters allege that Uber X and Lyft run “illegal” operations, and that they have spent money on licenses and training which they say Uber X and Lyft ignore.
Protesters called on 600 drivers to block the streets surrounding City Hall, 6 ABC reports.
