Valley Elementary Students Share Inspirational Hearts: PHOTOS

BENSALEM, PA — Some Valley Elementary School students have been working to spread a little extra kindness and love this holiday season.
Fourth, fifth and sixth-grade students in VIVA (Valley Inspires Volunteer Action) have been spreading around crocheted hearts that contain messages of hope and positivity. They give them to friends, give them to strangers or leave them in public places where someone will find them.
The hearts came from The Peyton Heart Project, a nonprofit group whose mission is to help end suicide and bullying, as well as the stigma surrounding mental health issues.

The students, school officials say, were really creative about finding special locations for the hearts. Keep an eye out — you might find one yourself!
