Video: Bensalem High School Graduation
Graduates from Bensalem High School managed to get through their ceremony before the heavy rains fell Friday.
Valedictorian Bhumica Patel and Salutatorian Paige Connelly were among the featured speakers at 's 87th annual commencement ceremonies Friday.
Others scheduled to speak at commencement were Principal Francis Perry, who is retiring, and Superintendent Bill Gretzula, who recently announced his pending resignation to spend more time with his family.
The event took place Bensalem Memorial Stadium, behind the high school. Rain that evening forced the 428 graduates to scatter following the ceremony.
