WARMINSTER, PA — Dramatic video released by a Bucks County police department on Thursday shows an officer chasing down an out-of-control truck and rescuing the driver, who had suffered a seizure.
Officer Ryan Bunda, of the Warminster Township Police Department, was on patrol at about 9:33 a.m. Tuesday when he saw a white, Ford F-150 pickup rolling slowly west down County Line Road near Newtown Road. According to police, Bunda noticed the truck's passenger waving his arms, trying to get his attention.

As the truck continued its slow roll, swerving out of one lane of traffic and into another, Bunda got out of his patrol car and ran to catch up to the truck. When he arrived, he saw that the driver was suffering a seizure.
As the truck headed toward eastbound traffic, Bunda opened the driver-side door and managed to bring the truck to a stop by pressing the brakes with his left hand. A Huntington Valley firefighter who happened to be passing stopped to help.

Once the truck was stopped, Bunda and the firefighter carried the truck's driver to a safe area, where they performed first aid and called for medical help.
"Officer Bunda's rapid and decisive actions were both heroic and lifesaving," Warminster Police wrote in a news release. "Great job, Officer Bunda, and thank you for your service."
