Women's Business Workshop Is June 19 In Bensalem
Radio personality Marilyn Russell will be the keynote speaker at the workshop, at Parx Casino.

BENSALEM, PA — Radio personality Marilyn Russell will keynote an upcoming women's business workshop at Parx Casino.
Russell, a morning host on 98.1 WOGL-FM who also hosts the station's "Remarkable Woman" podcast, will speak at SCORE Bucks County's 3rd annual Women Building Business workshop on June 19.
Russell, who began her career in radio at modern rock station 103.9 WDRE in 1993, will share insight on how to "calm your critic and build your dream" – the theme for the event.

"Marilyn can tell her story," SCORE mentor and workshop organizer Linda Zangrilli said. "We’re
delighted to have Marilyn join us and share her inspiring story."
The event will begin with networking, followed by a panel discussion with five prominent local female entrepreneurs. Russell will moderate the panel as speakers answer questions and share how they overcame obstacles on the journey to building their dreams.

Panelists will include Jen Crompton, creator and owner of FUEL Cycle Fitness, Maureen Borzacchiello, president and CEO of Creative Display Solutions, Karen Thompson, president and founder of LSL Brands, Susan Morris, founder of Susan Morris Coaching and Sunny White, founder and CEO of Xavier Creative House.
Roundtable discussions will follow. Topics will include:
- Confidence is the best outfit
- Building your personal brand
- Building your vision - where do you want to take your company in three to five years?
- Getting good systems in place to manage your business
- Understanding the numbers of your business
- Pricing – how to get what you are worth
The workshop will be held from 9:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. at Parx Casino, at 2999 Street Rd. in Bensalem. Cost is $25 through June 7 and includes a continental breakfast and lunch. After June 7, cost is $35.
