• Man charged with burglary, PFA violation (northcentralpa.com) — Police say a Berwick resident is facing burglary and related charges after allegedly forcing his way into a Lasalle Street home protected by a court-issued Protection From Abuse order and causing extensive damage. Officers responded April 20, documented forced entry and property damage, and arrested the 37-year-old the next day; a preliminary hearing is scheduled for June 22.
