• Teacher admits to institutional sexual assault of Conestoga High School student (delcotimes.com) — A Conestoga High School teacher who worked at the Berwyn-area campus has pleaded guilty to institutional sexual assault and corruption of minors involving a teenage student, and will serve at least 15 months in county prison. The longtime Tredyffrin-Easttown educator, now a Tier II sex offender, also forfeited her teaching license and is barred from working with children while under extended probation, affecting families across the Berwyn-centered school district.
   

• Health Inspectors Flag Food Safety Risks at Two Chester County Sites (mychesco.com) — Chester County health inspectors recently cited two facilities for food safety violations, but reported that Super Fried Chicken in Berwyn was in full compliance during the same inspection cycle. Local diners can see which nearby kitchens had issues, what was fixed on the spot, and how the county follows up to keep Berwyn-area restaurants safe.
   

• Person rescued after being pinned under large tree branch in Easttown Twp., Chester County (6abc.com) — A person was seriously injured Tuesday when a large tree branch pinned them against a riding mower on Old Lancaster Road in Easttown Township, prompting a rescue by Berwyn Fire Company. Crews freed the victim, rushed them to a nearby hospital, and juggled a separate brush fire response while Paoli Fire Company assisted at the scene.
