A Day at the Bethlehem Area Public Library

The North Side branch offers so much more than books; and the sale is on now

On a typical Saturday at the on Church Street, the aisles are filled with people in the same way the shelves are filled with books.

Today and Saturday mark one of the highlights of the year at the North Side branch -- the book sale.

Held every two months at the North Side branch, this particular sale is known as March Madness. Called one of the best book sales in the Lehigh Valley, it features gently used books, as well as CDs and DVDs, at bargain prices.

The sale goes on today until 8 p.m. and resumes Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Of course, there doesn't have to be a sale to visit the library. There are plenty of other reasons to go. Here's a glimpse at some of them.
