Kutztown University will be hosting its 15th Annual Children’s Literature Conference on April 13, 2013. Providing literary resources for children not only teaches them reading skills, but the skills to integrate what they have learned into personal experiences, to become a critical thinker, to find satisfaction in a genre of text, and so much more. Not only is it the responsibility of educators to develop and increase and child’s level of literacy, but it is the responsibility of parents and the community, as well. Those in attendance will have the opportunity to experience presentations by featured authors and illustrators renowned for their work in children’s literature.

Tickets are available for autograph sessions on Saturday morning and afternoon. Early Childhood attendees will be able to receive a three hour PA KEY training certificate for attending, and five hours of Act 48 credits are available, also.
