Legendary Harry Connick Jr. and Jacobs Music Company Boost Visibility of Young Bethlehem-Area Musical Theater Talent

Steinway artist and jazz great Harry Connick Jr. has sprinkled a lot of holiday stardust around Bethlehem, PA this month, with his appearances in town to support the production of his show “The Happy Elf"” by the Pennsylvania Youth Theater, running at the Ice House in Bethlehem through December 16th. The musical is the national debut of an updated version of his show that was inspired by his original Christmas song.

Steinway’s regional representative, the Jacobs Music Company in Whitehall, also showed their support for this important signature artist by providing a digital grand piano to the Pennsylvania Youth Theater for their use during the run of the Connick show. Encouraging young musical artists is central to the Jacobs Music Company mission.

Deb Tallarico, the store manager of the Jacobs Music Whitehall piano showroom, was thrilled to be able to spend some private time with Connick during the weekend of the show’s opening, as he posed for a photo backstage and signed a poster for their Steinway display.
