The Lehigh Valley High School Basketball Hall of Fame announced the 2013 inductees to be honored at the Via All-Star Banquet, presented by First Niagara Bank and sponsored by the Sands Casino Resort Bethlehem, on March 27, 2013. The Hall of Fame was established in 1978 and honors individuals who have made outstanding contributions to high school basketball in the Lehigh Valley. The Lehigh Valley Hall of Fame inductions will be made at the Via All-Star Classic Banquet, an exciting evening that honors the top basketball players in the greater Lehigh Valley. The Via All-Star Banquet is at the Sands Event Center on Wednesday, March 27, 2013 at 6:30pm (doors open at 6pm). The keynote speaker is Bill Walton, All-Star basketball legend, two time NBA and NCAA Champion, NBA MVP, and sports commentator. Via Super Saturday, a riveting game of end-to-end, high-spirited basketball, is on March 30, 2013 at 10:30am at Northampton Community College, 3835 Green Pond Road, Bethlehem.
The Via All-Star Basketball Classic raises funds for Via’s services for children and adults with disabilities. Serving our community since 1954, Via’s mission is to provide support and opportunities for children and adults with disabilities so they can live full, independent and productive lives within the community.
