Local Author Wins National Recognition by the Small Business Book Awards

Bethlehem, Pa. – Thursday, May 16, 2013 — Local author and business professional Sybil F. Stershic has been named a winner of the 2013 Small Business Book Awards her book, Share of Mind, Share of Heart: Marketing Tools of Engagement for Nonprofits. The book describes the marketing framework and tools nonprofit leaders can use to better engage the instrumental people behind an organization’s mission.

The Small Business Book Awards celebrate the best business books that appeal to entrepreneurs, small business owners, CEOs, managers and their employees. The Book Awards, now in their fifth year, are produced by Small Business Trends, an award-winning online publication, which, along with its sister sites, serves over 6,000,000 small business owners, stakeholders and entrepreneurs annually.

Stershic is founder and president of Quality Service Marketing, a Lehigh Valley, PA-based firm that specializes in engaging employees through internal marketing. She is a graduate of Lehigh University and former chairman of the American Marketing Association, who teaches marketing workshops nationwide to corporate and nonprofit professionals. A respected thought leader and blogger, Stershic is also the author of the book Taking Care of the People Who Matter Most: A Guide to Employee-Customer Care.
