Deeply discounted merchandise, surplus arts and craft supplies, used retail fixtures, and assorted Crayola memorabilia will go on sale Saturday at the weekend’s most colorful rummage sale hosted by the Crayola Experience.
The sale will take place from 7 a.m. to noon on both Saturday, April 27, and Sunday, April 28 inside The Crayola Store in the Alpha Building on Centre Square. Items are expected to sell out early, so shoppers are encouraged to come early on Saturday for the best selection.
For the right price, customers can take home Crayola-branded signage and displays—and even own the facility’s popular dry erase car. Other sale items will include bundled Crayola products, apparel, seasonal décor, and other miscellaneous items.
“We’re offering great deals on everything so that we can make room for hundreds of new retail items,” said Kristin Luise, Crayola Experience marketing and sales manager. “This is your last chance to take home a piece of the original Crayola Experience and scoop up half-price admission tickets to the all-new Crayola Experience attraction opening next month.”
The Crayola Store is clearing out its inventory as it begins its move to the first floor of the Crayola Experience. The new store will be stocked with the largest selection of official Crayola products in the world, including a two-pound crayon with a customizable label and certificate of authenticity, a print-on-demand station for personalized apparel and accessories, and a “Pick Your Pack” wall where customers can select from nearly 100 different crayons and markers to assemble their own perfect Crayola pack.
Currently in the midst of a multi-million-dollar renovation project, the Crayola Experience will re-open May 24 with four floors and 60,000 square feet of family-friendly attractions and activities, along with an eat-in café.
Although The Crayola Store is temporarily closed during normal business hours, they are still taking phone orders and can be reached at 610-253-3703.
