Pennoni Associates, a leading consulting engineering firm with an office in Bethlehem, is pleased to announce that Frederick “Rick” Brinker, PE, has joined the firm to lead geotechnical engineering services out of the Bethlehem office. Mr. Brinker previously served as the geotechnical engineering department manager for TRC Engineers, Inc.

Pennoni, PE, regional vice president for construction services. “Rick is knowledgeable and innovative in the field of geotechnical engineering. The addition of Rick as our geotechnical division manager in the Lehigh Valley will help us better serve our clients.”
A registered professional engineer in six states, Mr. Brinker work specialties include deep foundations, ground improvement, site investigations, and foundation testing. He earned both a bachelor’s and master’s degree from Drexel University, and is involved with the Deep Foundations Institute, ASCE, the Engineers Club of Philadelphia, Delaware Valley Geo-Institute, and the International Association of Foundation Drilling. Mr. Brinker’s first project with Pennoni will be working on the Kalahari Resort in Mt. Pocono, Pennsylvania.
