WASHINGTON, DC – Today, Rep. Cartwright announced that the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has awarded an Assistance to Firefighters Grants (AFG) to the City of Bethlehem Fire Department.
The grant in the amount of $132,576 will go towards safety and operation expenses.
“It’s grants like these that our Fire Companies rely on and most of all, deserve,” said Cartwright. “It is critical that the brave men and women who volunteer to put their lives on the line every day to keep families throughout the City of Bethlehem safe have the equipment they need to most effectively do their jobs.
