Star of the Day To Hold Auditions For Fall Show

EMMAUS, PA - Star of the Day Productions, LLC is proud to announce auditions for Andrew Lippa's BIG FISH. BIG FISH is the Broadway musical featuring music and lyrics by Tony nominee Andrew Lippa (The Addams Family, The Wild Party) and a new book by esteemed screenwriter John August (Big Fish, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory). Based on the celebrated novel by Daniel Wallace and the acclaimed film directed by Tim Burton, BIG FISH centers on Edward Bloom, a traveling salesman who lives life to its fullest… and then some! Edward's incredible, larger-than-life stories thrill everyone around him – most of all, his devoted wife Sandra. But their son Will, about to have a child of his own, is determined to find the truth behind his father’s epic tales. Overflowing with heart, humor and spectacular stagecraft, BIG FISH is an extraordinary new Broadway musical that reminds us why we love going to the theatre – for an experience that's richer, funnier and BIGGER than life itself.

CAST: 6M 5F 1 boy - ALL ROLES OPEN

Please prepare 32 bars of a contemporary musical theater song. Must provide sheet music,clearly marked and in the correct key. Also prepare a 1 minute tall tale. Please bring clothes to dance in for a movement audition.

Auditions will be held at St. John's UCC, 139 N. 4th St., Emmaus, PA. Please park in the lot across from the church and follow the signs on the church doors.
