BHHS Fox and Roach HomExpert Report for October in the Lehigh Valley

Property sales in the Lehigh Valley area during October of 2014 increased 8.2 percent from the same month the previous year.

According to a Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Fox & Roach HomExpert Market Report, there were 660 properties that closed in October, compared with 610 from the year before. In October of 2012 that number was 494.

The median price of the properties that did sell in October of 2014 decreased 0.1 percent over the same period in 2013, from $166,856 to $166,750. In October 2012, the median price was $167,950.

The average days on the market decreased by 2.8 percent from 72 to 70 days between October 2013 and October 2014.
