25 Ways to Download Angry Birds
Do you play Angry Birds? What other apps are as popular in your eyes?
OK, so I have to admit that one of the first apps I downloaded to my new iPad2 was Angry Birds HD. My children (ages 6 and 11) have played it on friends iPhones and were clamoring for access at other times. While this wasn’t the sole reason for wanting an iPad, it has quickly become my children’s favorite reason to borrow mom’s iPad.
While surfing the CNN site today, I couldn’t help but be drawn in by the headline “25 Ways to Download Angry Birds” in the Tech section of the site. The article is written by JP Mangalindan, a writer-reporter for Fortune magazine and focuses on how Rovio has created a “blockbuster franchise” for itself with this one app. There are now several different versions, for almost all platforms and tastes, for free or for fee. Do you play? Do you find this as addictive as others? What other app would you list as a top ten download or “wave” in the technology world?
