BAPL: Something for Everyone

Stop by the library this summer to discuss fascinating books and pick up wonderful movies, CDs, audiobooks and more!

While spending Memorial Day weekend with family and friends at the Jersey Shore, I hunkered down in my favorite nylon beach chair and hoped my synapses would fire rapidly enough to muster intelligible words of wisdom for a library blog post.

What could I possibly say regarding the that hasn’t already been iterated? Many people know that the library possesses an exhaustive supply of the latest and greatest books and music CDs, that we own enough audiobooks to make a peripatetic smile and hold enough DVDs to sustain a Roger Ebert fan ad infinitum, but did you know our arsenal of fabulous resources also consists of a wonderful Books Alive Program? Visit us for great conversation about a book chosen by you through the Books Alive blog.  Designed for all armchair and serious book club fans, book discussions are held on the third Tuesday of the month at 7 p.m.

As we transition from the cool days of spring to the lazy days of summer, remember there is something for everyone at BAPL. Whether traveling is on your itinerary or you’re kickin’ back at home – take a moment to drop in, say hi, grab a book or sit in on a Books Alive Program for a short spell. See you soon, and enjoy your summer!
