Check out BAPL’s online resource pick of the month: Mango! Mango is a user-friendly online language learning system. It offers a fast and convenient solution for our community’s increasing language-learning needs. Each lesson combines real life situations and audio from native speakers with simple, clear instructions. The courses are presented with an appreciation for cultural nuance and real-world application that integrates components of vocabulary, pronunciation, grammar and culture. Users learn actual conversation, breaking down complex conversational elements within an audio-visual framework that allows the user to draw important connections between pieces of information they have already learned.

From now until November 1, Mango will be offering a Pirate language learning course! Learn the appropriate way to hail your fellow gentlemen o’ fortune, pick up the finer points of swashbuckling and impress your friends with fun facts about Pirate history.
