Chesterbrook Academy Creates Cards for Local Nursing Home

Students at Chesterbrook Academy Preschool on Emrick Boulevard in Bethlehem recently handmade cards and donated more than 200 personal care items, games and activities to Old Orchard Health Care Center, a local nursing home. Over the past month, students collected puzzle books, coloring books, colored pencils and markers, as well as socks, tissues, shampoo, conditioner, lip balm, nail polish and lotions. In addition to the donations, students created cards filled with positive messages to raise the spirits of the seniors, who may not be able to see their loved ones due to COVID-19. Through this initiative, students learned the importance of spreading kindness and supporting members of their community.
