Chesterbrook Academy Preschool in Bethlehem Delivers $500 Worth of Items to Benefit Pediatric Patients at Local Hospital

Summer campers donated toys, books, board games, art materials and more to Lehigh Valley Hospital

On July 26, summer campers from Chesterbrook Academy Preschool in Bethlehem delivered more than $500 worth of items to benefit pediatric patients at Lehigh Valley Hospital in Allentown. Throughout July, campers worked together to collect more than 10 boxes full of toys, books, board games, art materials and more to help keep children entertained during their stay at the hospital. During the donation delivery, campers met with hospital representatives who explained how their contributions will be distributed to the pediatric oncology/hematology clinic, the pediatric intensive care unit, and other sites within the hospital’s network. Through this initiative, students learned the importance of helping other kids in need.
