Chesterbrook Academy Students Donate Gifts to Toys for Tots
Students held a toy drive and donated more than 80 gifts to the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve's Toys for Tots program

Students at Chesterbrook Academy Preschool on Emrick Boulevard in Bethlehem recently collected more than 80 toys and gifts to benefit Toys for Tots, a gift drive run by the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve. Over the past month, students worked together to collect the items, and at the close of the drive, a representative from the organization stopped by Chesterbrook Academy to pick up the donations. In addition to their donation to Toys for Tots, students created holiday cards for their local State Troopers to thank them for all that they do. Through these initiatives, students learned the importance of helping others and giving back to the community, especially during the holiday season.
Toys for Tots, a 70-year national charitable program run by the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve, provides happiness and hope to less fortunate children during each holiday season. The toys, books and other gifts collected and distributed by Marines and volunteers offer these children recognition, confidence and a positive memory for a lifetime.
