Chesterbrook Academy Students Donate Pajamas to Local Children

Students collected more than 25 pairs of pajamas for Scholastic's Annual Great Bedtime Story Pajama Drive

Students at Chesterbrook Academy Preschool on High Point Boulevard in Bethlehem recently donated more than 25 pairs of pajamas for Scholastic’s 11th Annual Great Bedtime Story Pajama Drive. Over the past month, students worked together to collect pajamas and prepare the donations for distribution to local children in need. Through this initiative, students learned the importance of helping others, especially during the holiday season.

Scholastic’s Great Bedtime Story Pajama Drive is an annual initiative in support of the Pajama Program, a national 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that promotes and supports a comforting bedtime routine for children affected by instability to help them thrive. Pajama Program was founded in 2001 and has delivered more than 6 million good nights for good days. For every pair of pajamas donated, Scholastic Book Clubs will donate a brand-new book to Pajama Program to be distributed to children in need.
