Council Public Safety Committee Meeting Cancelled

A City Council Public Safety Committee meeting scheduled for tonight at 7 p.m. in Town Hall has been cancelled.

The committee had planned to get updates on a variety of subjects, including progress on the construction of a new emergency medical services building, and numerous issues relating to the police department, including enforcement of the city’s

A memo issued Wednesday afternoon by Committee Chairman David DiGiacinto said the cancellation was due to “scheduling conflicts” which made the administration “unable to attend the meeting.”

“Council will plan to cover all the topics at it's next possible opportunity,” the memo says.
